Job Overview

Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is seeking skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians to join our team in Bowling Green, KY. We are a leading provider of medium to heavy truck dealership services, committed to delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose truck problems and perform repairs
• Create repair plans and requisition parts
• Tag warranty parts and handle core returns
• Maintain organized toolboxes and clean, safe workstations
• Communicate repair updates to Foreman daily

Technician Levels & Responsibilities

D-Level: Basic chassis and engine repairs, preventative maintenance, warranty processes.

C-Level: Basic diagnostics, major vendor repairs, engine removal & installation.

B-Level: Advanced diagnostics, complete engine and chassis repairs, vehicle component repairs, HVAC.

A-Level: Proficient in all vehicle repairs, root cause analysis, vibration and aftertreatment diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and positive attitude
• Dedication, motivation, teamwork, and a desire to succeed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Pass post-offer drug test and physical

Compensation & Benefits

• $19-$42/hr. based on experience and certifications, plus production bonus
