Job summary

TCI Transportation is seeking a Diesel Mechanic with 4+ years of experience for a day shift (Mon–Fri). The role involves diagnosing and repairing major truck and trailer systems, including clutches, PTOs, electrical, hydraulics, air brakes, HVAC, and instrumentation.

On-call rotation is required. We offer weekly pay, safety incentives, medical/dental/vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 401K with company match, holiday pay, uniforms, boot allowance, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6+ years of Diesel Engine Repair experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Self-motivated with leadership skills.
• Must be available for On-Call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair and diagnosis of major truck and trailer systems.
• Remove/replace major components under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair Clutches, PTO, Electric, Hydraulic/Air Brake Systems, HVAC, Instruments, and Preventive Maintenance services.
• Perform preventive maintenance service.

We are looking for Diesel Mechanics with 4+ years' Experience - $36.00 to $40.12 an hour depending on skills and experienceDay Shift - Monday to Friday

Position Overview

Technician Level IIII will generally assist in the repair and diagnosis of major components or remove/replace major components of various truck and trailer equipment at the direction of Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. Expectations include the ability to diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision: Clutches, PTO Systems, Electric Systems, Hydraulic/ Air Brake Systems, Heating/ Air Conditioning Systems, Instruments and Gauges, and Preventive Maintenance Service.

Minimum Requirements

• 4 to 6+ years Diesel Engine Repair
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Self-motivated & Leadership skills
• Must be available for On Call Rotation
