Chaney Enterprises in Greensboro, NC is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and stationary equipment to company standards. The role includes responding to road calls, coordinating repairs with the Manager, and maintaining a clean, safe shop.

• Supervise and guide a Mechanic's Helper.

• Respond to road calls and on-site equipment breakdowns as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Follow all safety and environmental regulations; report concerns promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Pick up equipment or supplies as needed.
• Share knowledge by training fellow employees.
• Provide coverage for colleagues as needed.

Job Specifications:

Work Environment:

• Indoor shop and outdoor field work.
• Exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals (fuel, grease, oil).
• Close proximity to moving mechanical parts.
• Moderate to loud noise levels.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to handle heavy materials, including lifting up to 100 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent reaching, gripping, and pinching.
