Job summary

Feldman Automotive is seeking a skilled Heavy Engine Technician to join our team. Diagnose and repair heavy-duty engines, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a vocational/technical program in diesel mechanics preferred.
• ASE Certification required or pursued.
• B level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy‑duty engines, including diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot engine issues.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers on engine issues and repairs needed.
• Follow safety protocols when working with heavy machinery.
