Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a qualified Heavy-Duty (Class A) Diesel Diagnostic Service Technician to perform diagnostic and road service work for commercial vehicles.

The technician will handle offsite road service calls as well as onsite repairs, diagnosing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools is required, with a focus on safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver’s license
• 5+ years experience as a heavy-duty diesel technician
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of heavy-duty vehicle issues
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills

Responsibilities

• Perform offsite and onsite diagnostic and repair work on heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and maintain aftertreatment systems, engine check/stop engine lights, air conditioning, electrical, and lighting systems.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate with fleet managers or clients as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism at all times.
