Job description

Not your traditional HEAVY DIESEL MECHANIC position. Our client builds brand new F650 pickup trucks right here in Augusta, GA.

650 Supertrucks is a registered Ford upfitter and builds 50 custom trucks for a discreet customer base of people who know what they like and want it to be completed in a timely fashion. Their trucks have been featured in Rides magazine, Poker Runs America, Xtreme Boats, Dupont Registry, Exotic Car Buyers Guide for 2006, Diesel Powered, and a few more.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assembling the truck's components, including the chassis, body, and drivetrain.
  2. The process typically takes around 20 hours and involves both bodywork and chassis production.
  3. Ensuring the robustness of frames, suspension systems, and heavy-duty components suitable for tough jobs and heavy loads.

Qualifications:

  1. Basic automotive mechanics knowledge, including chassis, drivelines, suspensions, and engines assembly.
  2. Understanding of bodywork processes and overall truck manufacturing processes.

Great pay, Monday - Friday, no weekends, and excellent benefits.
