Olympic Steel is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator for the Butech area in Winder, GA. The role involves assisting the Butech Operator in leveling and stacking sheets according to customer specifications. This position requires attention to detail and operational knowledge of cranes and precision instruments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Detail oriented with the ability to inspect material for quality.
• 1 year experience with Butech machine or other Cut to Length Machines.
• Previous experience with precision instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Butech area by leveling and sheeting.
• Operate console-operated equipment to level length and stack sheets.
• Maintain quality conformance through inspection.
