Based anywhere in the United States, travel will be required to service and repair a range of heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

POSITION TITLE: Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic (traveling)

DEPARTMENT: Field

SALARY RANGE: $25 to $40 per hour

JOB NUMBER: 2026-9999-03

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor (#3 in ENR) looking for a Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic. Travel will be required. This position can be based anywhere in the United States.

THE DAILY WORK WILL INCLUDE:

• Responsible for all phases of heavy construction equipment repair, maintenance, and overhaul

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Minimum five years' prior work experience required on a variety of heavy construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, off-road haulers, and loaders. Other job requirements include:

• Must have own tools
• A bility to rebuild diesel and gasoline engines a plus
• Must have valid driver's license
