Summary of Functions
To provide housekeeping service on a daily basis in a manner which is convenient to the guests, and to promote a positive image of the casino through professional service and attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.
2. Cleans and sanitizes all assigned areas in accordance with company policies and County, State and Federal health requirements including: all lobbies, lounges, food venues and kitchens at the resort and casino.
3. Stocks, maintains, and secures all storerooms with all needed supplies.
4. Uses high lift or ladders to reach high areas for cleaning.
5. Removes all trash from casino and designated hotel areas daily and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
6. Performs special projects as directed.
7. Works in a manner that causes the least amount of disturbance to the guests, observing guest privacy and requests.
8. Records and reports any maintenance problems found.
9. Knows and abides by all company policies and procedures including safety, security, and emergency procedures.
10. Provides excellent customer service.
11. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
12. Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
13. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.
14. May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings.
15. Ensures sanitation of all kitchen areas and other F&B back of the house areas.
16. Follows all safety, sanitation and HACCP guidelines when handling and storing food, equipment and chemicals.
17. Ensures control / protection of company assets.
18. Maintains a good working relationship with supervisor and chefs and kitchen staff.

Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Skills

1. General understanding of MSDS and OSHA requirements.
2. Operation and maintenance of floor care equipment preferred.
3. Basic to advanced level in custodial technician training.
4. Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.

Other Requirements

1. Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
2. Washington or Idaho State Driver’s License (Must be in possession while operating a Tribal Vehicle).
3. Mandatory high lift training required before operating machinery.
4. Hepatitis A & B shots.
5. Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
