Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) is seeking an experienced Traveling Laborer to support day-to-day operations on construction projects. This role requires frequent travel and willingness to work out of state as needed.

You will assist with general construction tasks, operate basic tools, and help maintain site safety. A strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to follow directions are essential for success on diverse projects across multiple locations.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Construction experience preferred.
• 2+ years in heavy civil construction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or with a team.

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Laborer to assist with the day to day operations of our construction projects. This position requires extensive travel and must be willing to travel out of state.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in construction or related industry preferred
• 2+ years of heavy civil construction experience
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
