Sundt Construction in Phoenix seeks a Project Superintendent to plan, coordinate and supervise field and administrative operations on large-scale projects. You will guide safety, costs, productivity, and quality, and may supervise multiple field superintendents to ensure profitable execution and timely completion.

Ideal candidates have heavy civil and underground utilities experience on multi-million dollar projects, with 3–5 years in this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills.
• Engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training/experience.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, cost control, scheduling, safety.
• Construction project and supervision experience in similar facilities.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, submittals, change orders and purchase orders.
• Develop PMP and project plans including scope, procurement, safety and risk management.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and prepare field status reports.
• Coordinate constructability issues and clarifications with stakeholders.
• Develop and manage construction plan for successful execution and profitability.
• Ensure work is performed according to contract terms and is profitable.
• Interact with owners and teams to maintain positive project environment.
• Lead and mentor project team and subcontractors for relentless execution.
• Maintain updated CPM schedule and LEAN weekly work plans.
• Identify and mitigate potential claims and document impacts.
• Develop project quality and safety plans per Sundt standards.
