Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial Construction subsidiary, is seeking a Project Engineer in Houston for heavy civil projects. The role supports the Project Manager and Superintendent, with 20–30% field time to supervise activities and ensure on-schedule, within-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and have 3+ years of experience, plus strong proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar degree.
• Preferably 3+ years of construction experience.
• Proficient with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
• Proficient with Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Project Manager and the Project Superintendent.
• Assist with goal setting, planning, communication, organization, implementation and tracking.
• In-field work 20%–30% of the time.
• Acquire, organize, review and distribute project submittals & RFIs.
• Create and maintain project logs and takeoffs.
• Coordinate with owner and client representatives.
• Assist with budgets and cost reports.
• Schedule self-perform, subcontractor work and material deliveries.
• Read and interpret project plans, specs, safety rules, and procedures.
