Dick Anderson Construction is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to handle paperwork and documentation for construction projects, focusing on field analysis costs and data coordination with the Project Manager.

Responsibilities include preparing submittals, obtaining permits, tracking materials, reviewing timecards, and assisting in cost projections and closeouts. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills with a collaborative team mindset.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in project engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in construction-related software and computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project submittals, schedules, material lists, and subcontractor details.
• Obtain necessary project permits.
• Coordinate internal material requirements, quantities, and pricing.
• Review and code timecards daily for accuracy.
• Maintain project files, reports, and correspondence.
• Match project invoices and purchase orders.
• Track quantities and assist in cost projections.
• Collaborate with PM and accounting on project billing.
• Verify subcontractor payments and documentation.
• Maintain as-built drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Superintendent for material orders.
• Procure long-lead-time items and track materials.
• Prepare final cost reports and closeout documents.
