Job summary

Thalle Construction Co. Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in Austin, Texas.

You will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with the operations team to ensure projects run safely, accurately, and on time. Responsibilities include preparing reports, managing submittals, coordinating with owners and subcontractors, and supporting project controls. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 2+ years on heavy civil projects, and are proficient in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or CM is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience on heavy civil projects.
• Primavera scheduling or similar; CAD knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong communication.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily reports and monitor production and schedule tracking.
• Create and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence.
• Lead or participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain client, owner, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
• Prepare monthly pay requests and track materials and equipment costs.
• Assist with project documentation in Primavera and project controls.
