RUTS Construction is seeking a Heavy Civil Construction Pipelayer to lay and repair water, stormwater, and sewer pipelines in Austin, TX. You will follow blueprints, ensure safety, and work under the direction of the Foreman.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years heavy civil construction experience preferred.
• Able to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Set grades and elevations using level/lasers.
• Check slopes against grad elevations.
• Connect bell, sewer, and water pipelines.
• Cover pipes with aggregate and compact.
• Dig bell holes to verify utilities.
• Grade trench bases with tamping tools.
• Install/repair water, stormwater, sewer systems in trenches.
• Lay out pipe routes per instructions/blueprints.
• Follow safety policies and Rangeline/OSHA rules.
• Take direction from Foreman and assist peers.
