Timberline Construction Group is hiring a Pipelayer for its Civil Division, a travel position with first assignment in Sevierville, TN. The role requires at least three years of heavy civil pipelaying experience and the ability to read plans and operate a pipe laser. Lodging is paid when applicable and overtime is available.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair underground water, sewer, and other utility piping per plans and specs.
• Set pipe to line and grade using a pipe laser and field measurements.
• Prepare pipe bedding, install fittings and connections, and assist with backfill.
• Identify existing utilities and work carefully around them.
• Read plans and coordinate daily work with the superintendent and crew.
• Assist with trench preparation, inspections, testing, and repairs.
• Follow site safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.

Pipelayer - Civil Division

Job type: Full-time
Schedule: Approximately 40-60 hours per week; overtime paid
Hourly Pay: $25 - $28

Travel Position | First Project: Sevierville, Tennessee

Timberline Construction Group, LLC is hiring an experienced Pipelayer for its Civil Division. This is a travel position supporting projects at various locations. The first assignment is in Sevierville, Tennessee.

We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in heavy civil construction and underground utility installation who can work safely, follow plans and grades, and help keep field work moving.

What You'll Do

• Install and repair underground water, sewer, and other utility piping according to project plans and specifications.
• Set pipe to the required line and grade using a pipe laser and other field measurements.
• Prepare pipe bedding, install fittings and connections, and assist with backfill.
• Identify existing utilities and work carefully around them.
• Read plans and coordinate daily work with the superintendent, equipment operators, and crew.
• Assist with trench preparation, inspections, testing, and repairs.
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

What You'll Bring

• At least three years of pipelaying experience in heavy civil or underground utility construction.
• Experience installing underground pipe and working with different pipe materials, fittings, and connection methods.
• Ability to read construction plans and use a pipe laser to maintain proper line and grade.
• Understanding of trench safety and safe work practices around underground utilities and equipment.
• Ability to travel for project assignments. The first project is in Sevierville, TN.
