Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is seeking a skilled construction operator to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on operating rubber-tired, skid steer, or crawler tractors with attached buckets to load materials and support project sites safely and efficiently.

You will work under a Foreman, following safety policies and procedures while contributing to project success through reliable hands-on work and collaborative problem solving in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

  • Three+ years of related construction experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
  • Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
  • Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
  • May oil, grease, or otherwise service the machine.
  • Make necessary adjustment to equipment as needed.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
