Qualifications

• Less than a high school diploma with related construction experience.
• Experience in operating heavy equipment and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Start engines, operate throttles, switches, levers, and pedals to run the crawler tractor.
• Operate a ripper attachment to break up rock or hard material as needed.
• Use a push block on the front of the tractor to push materials and scrappers.
• Maintain awareness to avoid hazards such as utilities, other equipment, workers, and falling objects.
• Oil, grease, or service the machine as required.
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment to keep it running safely.
