Sora Resource Group is seeking a Heavy Civil Estimator to join its preconstruction team in the Atlanta metro area. The role focuses on preparing detailed cost estimates and bid packages for civil infrastructure and site development projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on estimating experience with earthwork, grading, underground utilities, drainage, paving, and related heavy civil construction projects. Strong analytical and mathematical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, bid documents, and contract requirements.

• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare bid proposals, estimate summaries, clarifications, and exclusions.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and project reviews.
• Collaborate with operations teams during bid turnover and project startup.
• Identify project risks, cost exposures, and opportunities.

A growing civil construction contractor in the Atlanta metro area is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join its preconstruction team. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and bid packages for civil infrastructure and site development projects.
