Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a Heavy Civil Estimator to join its preconstruction team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates and bid packages for civil infrastructure and site development projects, with emphasis on earthwork, utilities, drainage, and paving.

• Demonstrated experience estimating heavy civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of grading, excavation, utilities, drainage, paving, and sitework.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, and bid packages.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

• Identify project risks, cost exposures, and opportunities.

Heavy Civil Estimator

A growing civil construction contractor in the Atlanta metro area is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join its preconstruction team. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and bid packages for civil infrastructure and site development projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on estimating experience with earthwork, grading, underground utilities, drainage, paving, and related heavy civil construction projects.
