Job summary

Kyle Conti Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Crane Operator with 5+ years of lattice boom crane experience and NCCCO certifications to join our active projects across New Jersey. You will work with Superintendents, Foremen, riggers and signal persons to safely execute lifting operations and keep the project moving.

You will perform daily inspections, follow lift plans, and adhere to safety standards on major infrastructure sites.

Qualifications

• Experience operating lattice boom cranes in heavy civil construction.
• Valid NCCCO Certification.
• Strong knowledge of crane operations, load charts, rigging and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to operate safely in an active heavy civil construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate lattice boom cranes and related lifting equipment
• Perform daily crane inspections and report equipment or safety concerns
• Follow load charts, lift plans, manufacturer requirements and project procedures
• Safely lift, move and position materials, equipment and other loads
• Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, riggers and signal persons
• Maintain clear communication with ground personnel during lifting operations
• Assist with crane setup, positioning, assembly and breakdown as required
• Monitor site conditions and maintain safe working clearances
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Follow company, OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
• Perform other duties related to crane operations and heavy civil construction as needed

Kyle Conti Construction is looking for an experienced Heavy Civil Crane Operator with 5+ years of lattice boom crane experience and the required New Jersey and NCCCO certifications.

We’re looking for someone who understands heavy civil construction, takes pride in operating safely and efficiently, and knows what it takes to perform on an active construction site.

At KCC, Crane Operators are an important part of the project team. You’ll work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, riggers, signal persons and other field personnel to safely execute lifting operations and keep projects moving.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Crane Operator to join an established heavy civil contractor and work on major infrastructure projects throughout New Jersey.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Safely operate lattice boom cranes and related lifting equipment

WHAT YOU BRING

Candidates must possess:

• Experience operating lattice boom cranes in heavy civil construction
• Valid NCCCO Certification
• Strong understanding of crane operations, load charts, rigging and safe lifting practices
• Ability to safely operate equipment in an active heavy civil construction environment
• Ability to work effectively with
• Superintendents, Foremen, riggers and signal persons
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable, professional work ethic and strong attention to detail

Preffered experience:

• Heavy highway, roadway, bridge, utility, marine, rail/transit, environmental or industrial construction
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
• Experience working on public works and DOT projects
• Experience operating lattice boom cranes in confined or challenging jobsite conditions
• Knowledge of prevailing wage construction projects
• Experience working from lift plans and coordinating complex lifting operations
