Overview

The Superintendent Level II is a leader responsible for supervising the day-to-day field construction of projects to ensure completion on schedule, within budget, safely, and with quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in earthwork, underground utility work, subgrade/base, and paving.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership and direction to field personnel.
  2. Schedule daily/weekly construction activities.
  3. Ensure work is performed safely and with quality.
  4. Understand project plans and specifications thoroughly.
  5. Identify potential issues and facilitate solutions.
  6. Manage material logistics, placement, and deliveries efficiently.
  7. Maintain daily documentation such as as-built drawings, timecards, test reports, and correspondence.
  8. Communicate with field staff, management, vendors, and subcontractors.
  9. Monitor employee attendance and notify of weather-related delays.
  10. Promote and adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety meetings and inspections.
  11. Review safety plans and hazard assessments with the crew.
  12. Work with Safety Department to investigate incidents and ensure proper procedures.
  13. Work responsibly to prevent injuries and ensure safety.
Qualifications

Preferred 10 years of experience as a Superintendent with the ability to travel across Texas.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Commit to health and safety principles, including Cash's Zero Injury policy.
