Job summary

Hi-Way Paving, Inc. seeks a Project Coordinator in Nashville, TN to support field and office operations for heavy/civil construction projects, including concrete paving and storm drainage work. You will coordinate deliveries, track progress, and assist with submittals and payroll.

The role requires at least 1 year in construction, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel and relocation may be needed to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with a construction company or job site.
• Degree in construction management or civil engineering preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
• Willingness to travel/relocate up to 100%.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Track project progress and provide reports.
• Monitor construction activities and subcontractor work.
• Maintain material inventories and manage associated tasks.
• Coordinate with utilities and submit meter-reading requests.
• Assist Project Manager with submittals and data gathering.
• Maintain up-to-date project documents and revisions.
• Support payroll, payables, and basic accounting tasks.
• Schedule subcontractor meetings and field coordination.
