Job summary

Watco Transloading, LLC in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Industrial Pipe Operator to support our Greensport Terminal. You will operate large-capacity forklifts, reach stackers, and loaders in a busy pipe and heavy cargo environment, handling pipe, coils, crates and other long items.

The role offers a day shift with overtime and weekend work as needed, pay $20.00–$22.00 per hour, and on-the-job training. A valid driver's license and 2–3 years of heavy equipment experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Must pass classroom and field evaluations for equipment competency.
• Familiar with handling heavy and oversized materials safely.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment (36k-65k capacity) in pipe and heavy cargo environments.
• Transfer bulk materials between trucks, railcars, vessels, and storage areas per procedures.
• Inspect equipment before and after use and report safety concerns promptly.
• Participate in daily safety briefings and uphold environmental and teamwork standards.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to meet schedules.
• Work outdoors in varying weather, maintaining a clean, organized work area.
