Job summary

Texas Pipe And Supply Company in Houston is seeking an experienced warehouse professional to join our shipping and receiving team. You will handle stock, prepare orders and ensure accurate, timely fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse work, forklift operation and certification, and a strong commitment to safety. You will pass background checks and drug tests and work at least 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving.
• 3+ years of forklift experience
• Forklift Certification required
• Experience handling pipe (carbon and stainless) is a plus
• Excellent work ethic: self-directed and flexible team player
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
• Able to pass background check and drug test
• Minimum of 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop; organize warehouse for orderliness
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
• Other duties as requested by supervisor/manager
