Job summary

Nidec is seeking a Heavy Assembler to build and assemble large subassemblies and units. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and ensure components are correctly fitted and calibrated. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.

First Shift in the United States (Nidec facility). You will work with hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and various power tools to complete assemblies, document production steps, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship in area of specialty a plus.
• Experienced use of hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous power tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components by following instructions and measuring parts.
• Prepare materials and tools for assembly.
• Verify fit and tolerances; adjust as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
