Imigrus in Florida is seeking a skilled field equipment operator for harvesting season. You will run self-propelled harvesters, load crops onto trucks, and ensure safe distance from equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate self-propelled harvesting equipment.

• Perform maintenance and basic repairs on trucks, tractors and trailers.

Job description

Operating self-propelled equipment in the process of reaping, harvesting, threshing, swathing or winnowing crops; Load crops onto trucks by driving alongside harvesting machine without stopping, maintain appropriate distance; Perform manual or mechanical adjustments to trucks, tractors, and trailers; Maintain and repair equipment and tools; Transport harvested crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas; Drive equipment from one field to another; Clean work areas.

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
