Job summary

VP Aviation is seeking skilled Aircraft Mechanics for heavy maintenance on Boeing and Airbus aircraft in Jacksonville, Florida. This open-ended contract offers long-term work for experienced mechanics, with the possibility to stay long-term based on performance.

Pay ranges from $1,080 to $1,400 per week for a 40-hour week, with overtime pay possible. A&P license is preferred, but experienced unlicensed mechanics are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• A&P license preferred; unlicensed mechanics are encouraged to apply.
• Experience on heavy maintenance or C-checks preferred.
• Experience working on Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft preferred.
• Must provide your own tools.
• Must be able to work any shift as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance and C-checks on Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft systems and components.
• Complete maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
• Accurately document completed work.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work effectively with fellow technicians to meet production schedules.
