Job summary

Engineered Floors in Calhoun, GA is seeking a Heatset Winder Operator to operate, thread and supply the Heat Setting Tunnel/Winder and Accumulator. The role requires standing for long periods and handling 12–20 lb packages per shift.

You will patrol and monitor the machine, inspect and stack wound packages, load empty tubes, and verify specifications from the spec sheet. Overtime is required occasionally, and all safety and quality guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills to verify specs and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor the running of the machine.
• Inspect, label, and stack wound packages as instructed.
• Follow all safety, quality guidelines and spec sheets.
• Load empty tubes into the winder magazine.
• Verify that yarn packages meet specification sheets.
• Keep work area clean and free of yarn waste.
• Overtime is required on occasion.
