Job summary

Blue Collar Mechanical LLC is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial heating and cooling systems in the Greater Phoenix area.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years HVAC trade and maintenance experience, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, own hand tools, and are prepared to handle service calls start to finish with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HVAC trade experience.
• 3–5 years maintenance experience on all systems.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Own hand tools and reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems (heat pumps, gas furnaces, AC systems, mini splits, dual fuel).
• Perform routine maintenance and seasonal tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues.
• Deliver high-quality, people-first service and ensure facilities operate efficiently.
• Communicate findings clearly with customers and offer repair/replacement options.
• Complete service calls efficiently with accurate documentation and records.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems in both residential homes and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate is widely experienced technically, customer-focused, and takes pride in delivering top-level service. They are also detail orienated and willing to complete a job start to finish, including needed paperwork to ensure a quality job performed.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems (heat pumps, gas furnaces, AC systems, mini splits, dual fuel systems)
• Perform routine maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues
• Deliver high-quality, people-first service to ensure customer facilities operate efficiently
• Communicate findings clearly with customers and offer repair/replacement options
• Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation as required
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Must be comfortable working in Arizona attics in the summertime
• Must have own hand tools
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications

• 3-5 years HVAC trade experience
• 3-5 years HVAC maintenance experience (all systems)
• 3-5 Years EPA Certification (Required)
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to maintain a clean motor vehicle record throughout employment.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations.
