Job Responsibilities
Will be responsible for the engineering and coordination of HVAC systems within a nuclear fuel manufacturing facility.
This role will be engaged throughout all project phases, including planning, design, construction, and startup.
The HVAC Engineer will lead technical evaluations, oversee the preparation of engineering specifications, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide guidance to teams across multi-disciplinary projects.
This role requires strong experience in HVAC engineering, regulatory compliance knowledge and an ability to manage complex systems in a regulated environment. This position requires occasional travel.
Job Qualifications
7-10+ years of HVAC experience
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local codes, particularly in the context of nuclear or highly regulated industries. Example AG-1, ASME N509, ASME N510, ANSI13.1, WAC BARCT, WAC ALARACT
Plan, organize, and coordinate HVAC engineering activities, with a focus on the mechanical systems.
Engage in all project phases, including planning, design oversight, construction, and project startup.
Provide engineering expertise in the review and development of specifications, ensuring they meet both project needs and regulatory requirements.
