Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is either part-time or full-time, on-site role located in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial settings. Daily tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, checking electrical and mechanical components, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. The technician interfaces directly with customers, explains findings and recommended repairs, and completes service documentation and work orders accurately. The role also requires adherence to company safety standards, local codes, and environmental regulations while collaborating with plumbing and mechanical team members on integrated systems.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess Plumbing knowledge to work safely with hydronic systems, piping, and related components.
• Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to perform regular inspections, cleaning, and adjustments that extend equipment life.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with EPA guidelines and certifications for handling refrigerants and complying with environmental regulations.
• Candidates should possess basic to intermediate Electricity skills to work with wiring, controls, and HVAC electrical components safely.
• Relevant experience as an HVAC Technician or in a closely related mechanical trade is preferred.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely, read technical diagrams, and follow manufacturer specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites within the Pittsburgh area.
