Aramark is hiring an experienced HVAC Technician 1st Shift to support operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems within a large facilities environment.

This skilled trades role maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and building automation systems ensuring safe, comfortable, and operational facilities during day shifts; evening/weekend flexibility may be required for emergencies.

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification required.
• Previous HVAC experience required.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. PPE may be required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, operates, and repairs all refrigeration and related equipment.
• Calibrates and maintains pneumatic control systems.
• Checks and replaces filters in A/C and heating units.
• Cleans ducts, grills, and shaft ways.
• Coordinates work with other trades and adheres to codes.
• Completes preventative maintenance and keeps records.
• Responds to emergency repair needs.
• Maintains inventory of tools and parts.
• Maintains friendly, safe service attitude.
• Duties may change based on operational needs.

Aramark is hiring an experienced HVAC Technician 1st Shift to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems within a large facilities environment.

This is a skilled trades position responsible for maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and building automation systems that support daily facility operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial HVAC systems, preventative maintenance programs, emergency repairs, and mechanical troubleshooting in institutional, commercial, healthcare, industrial, or campus environments.

This role is critical to maintaining safe, comfortable, and operational facilities during second shift operations.

Shift Information:

• This is a 1st shift position with the hours of 7:00am- 3:30pm.
• Evening and weekend flexibility may be required based on operational or emergency maintenance needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, tests, operates, and repairs all refrigeration and related equipment for preserving food, making ice, cooling water, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation.
• Calibrates, repairs, and maintains all pneumatic control systems and related equipment.
• Checks, services, cleans, and replaces filters in all A/C air handling and heating units and documents the same.
• Cleans and maintains grills, ducts, and shaft ways in A/C, ventilating, and exhaust systems.
• Understands and demonstrates knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration codes and practices, and coordinates work between/with other trades.
• Completes preventative maintenance as scheduled and keeps records
• Responds to any emergency repair/maintenance situation as required
• Maintains critical inventory needed to keep operations running; maintains and accounts for tools used
• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers
