Job summary

Purple Drive Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to provide on-site and remote support for cooling systems. You will install, commission, maintain, and repair equipment, read electrical diagrams, and ensure safe operation across multiple facilities.

The role requires 75–80% travel, a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certification, EPA refrigerant license, and strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with Liebert products a plus.
• EPA refrigerant license or related industry experience.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Travel 75–80% required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Basic electrical knowledge and HVAC theory.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• This role requires travel of 75-80%

Preferred:

• Data center cooling experience.
• Knowledge of OHM's Law and electrical test equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills.

Physical:

• Lift 50-75 lbs.
• Frequent standing, climbing, bending, and crawling.
• Work in extreme temperatures and outdoor environments.
• Flexible schedule with possible on-call duties.
