Qualifications

• Experience in a metal working environment, preferably chain manufacturing with emphasis on heat treatment and metal finishing.
• Able to read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Self-starter.
• Team player capable of working with peers and supervisors.
• Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
• Capable of handling weights in excess of 50 lbs.
• Follow direction of group leader or supervisor.
• Recognize and report errors in routing procedures, prints, drawings, specifications, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate belt, rotary, internal quench and tempering furnaces and metal finishing equipment.
• Retrieve and replace components between processes to ensure continuous operation of equipment.
• Assist, train and develop new operators.
