Job summary

Bodycote in South Windsor, CT is seeking a Heat Treating Technician to support heat treatment operations under the Production Manager. The role covers Level C, B, or A depending on experience, with responsibilities to learn, grow, and lead initiatives as you advance.

This full-time position requires a 40+ hour work week (Mon–Thu 4pm–2:30am), passing a pre-employment screen, and safety-sensitive duties in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ITAR compliance requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• Forklift operation certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Overtime or weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work for processing; loads and unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, and baskets.
• Brings any unusual problems to the supervisor's attention.
• Promotes safety and good housekeeping practices.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Safely cares for customer inventory and minimizes loss/damage.
• Reports to work on time and follows directions and procedures.
