**Description**PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Heat Treat Operator I, in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Job ID213128 Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hr Job Description: \\* Requires specific knowledge of general heat treat requirements for aluminum, titanium, nickel based alloys, stainless, and alloy steels \\* Must be familiar with Heat Treat scheduling to ensure proper sequence for product through heat treating. \\* Must be familiar with the operation, adjustment and routine maintenance of all furnace controllers. \\* Under the direction of an operator will batch loads for optimum productivity \\* Will be trained and under guidance will set thermal couple, prepare load per optimal heat distribution of load \\* Unload furnaces \\* Responsible for heat treat and process furnace accuracy and uniformity surveys \\* Ability to move parts on and off pallets \\* Interpret hardness rating utilizing measuring tools and standards \\* Places work piece into a heating furnace for a specified period of time \\* Will be responsible for Hardness testing, utilizing specific calibrated hardness testing equipment \\* Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions \\* Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures. Skill/Knowledge: \\* High School Diploma or GED and 1 to 3 years of relative manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience \\* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization \\* Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs \\* Basic computer knowledge preferred \\* Must be certified to operate a forklift to approved O.S.H.A. standards \\* Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear \\* Frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl \\* Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds Benefits offered to vary by the contract.
