Job summary

Phillips Staffing seeks an experienced Heat Treat Furnace Operator for a manufacturing team in West Union, SC. You will start up, operate, and shut down furnace equipment, monitor and adjust process parameters, and ensure quality during shifts.

The role requires reading production docs, basic math, and familiarity with Oracle. You will work second shift (3pm–11pm) in a hot environment with PPE and safety procedures in place.

Qualifications

• Reads and completes production and quality documentation.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Able to perform basic math and read measurements.
• Learns and uses material tracking software such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, adjust, and shut down equipment in the Heat Treat Department.
• Operate furnace lines, conveyors, batch and shaker furnaces and related equipment.
• Perform SPC checks and document results; submit to Supervisor for review.
• Load and unload furnaces; support production and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow procedures.
