Job summary

York General is seeking a Long Term Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time evening shift. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with schedules designed to fit individual needs and ample opportunity to build relationships with residents.

You will assist with dressing, hygiene, meals, hydration, and daily activities, while documenting care and reporting changes in condition to the nursing team. Nebraska certification and the 75-hour CNA course are required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the 75-hour CNA Training Course and Nebraska state certification.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience in memory support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to all personal care needs including dressing, hygiene, toileting, locomotion, and repositioning.
• Serve meals and assist residents with meal intake; provide hydration, snacks, and supplements as needed.
• Observe and report changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate nursing observations and care documentation (intake/output, food consumption, ADLs).

What You Will Do

• Attend to all personal care needs including assistance with dressing, hygiene, toileting, locomotion, and repositioning.

• Observe and report changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing observations and care, including but not limited to intake/output, food consumption, and ADLs.

What You Need

• A genuine interest in nursing and a desire to attend to the elderly.
• Successful completion of the 75‑hour Nursing Assistant Training Course and certification by the state of Nebraska Health and Human Services system.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience in memory support is preferred.
