Lee Health Heart Institute is looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) or an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for our HeartHealth program. Candidates should have experience in Cardiology. This position will be working with Lee Health employees and spouses participating in our HeartHealth Program. The position consists of televisits that include screening/scheduling for Coronary CTAs, result and lab follow-ups, prescribing pre and post medications based off a treatment algorithm, and monitoring for medication refills/reactions. This program is a part of a research study and includes specific data documentation requirements.
Cardiology experience preferred
Schedule will be Full-Time; occasional weekends if needed
Initially on-site at one of our hospital locations but travel among other hospital sites within Lee County may be required
Role will be approximately 80% patient care/20% data collection
Requirements:
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited PA/APRN program
Active, Unrestricted Florida License or the ability to obtain this license prior to starting with Lee Health
Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
