Job summary

Mon Health Medica in Morgantown is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Heart & Vascular unit. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with physicians, and coordinate patient education and discharge planning.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to perform heavy physical work. This is a full-time, on-site position at Mon Health Medical Park with negotiable salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; substitution: completion of a formal nursing program may be considered.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with health care team to meet patient care needs and coordinate teaching for patients and families.
• Documents patient care in the health record and administers medications; assists with procedures.
• Adheres to infection prevention policies and protocols; participates in performance improvement activities.
• Supports new employee orientation and follows clinic plan for care delivery and responsibilities.
