Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Registered Nurse for Heart and Vascular to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work with providers to support pre- and post-operative care and advocate for patients to ensure an excellent experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patients at admission and each shift, performing procedures as ordered, documenting care promptly, administering prescribed meds, and staying current on cardiac and surgical practice.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• RN license (Registered Nurse).
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Document care in the patient record in a timely manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care.
