Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Heart Institute. You will oversee clinical and non-clinical staff, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure efficient, cost-effective, high-quality patient care aligned with MDMC’s mission and strategic plans.

You’ll lead operational functions, supervise staff, and work with hospital and corporate systems to optimize outcomes, resource use, and patient experience within a respected Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with clinical or billing database systems.
• Experience with medical coding, billing, collections & appeal procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of Managed Care.
• Demonstrated ability to function independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
• High level of interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent skills with business software i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
