Job summary

Penn Medicine in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Part-Time .6FTE (24 hrs/week) patient care associate to assist with direct non-licensed care under supervision. You will help with environment management, supply clerical tasks, and basic patient support in a high‑quality hospital setting.

Duties include documentation, safety, admission/discharge support, and responding to patient calls. A HS diploma and CPR/BLS within 30 days are required; strong communication and teamwork are essential to maintain

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of the educational requirements with appropriate training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct, non-licensed patient care under supervision.
• Complete cleaning tasks per OSHA standards and maintain unit cleanliness.
• Order and stock supplies and demonstrate cost awareness.
• Document accurately and timely per standards.
• Safely assist in mobilizing and positioning patients using assistive devices.
• Answer patient call lights promptly and communicate with RN.
