Job summary

The Baylor College of Medicine Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology program is expanding and seeks to add a staff cardiologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful applicant will staff inpatient heart failure and transplant services at Baylor St.

Luke's Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have an M.D., ABIM certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and board certification or eligibility in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, and qualify

Qualifications

• MD degree and board certification in cardiovascular diseases required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology required/expected.
• Texas medical license (full and unrestricted) required.
• Research and teaching activity opportunities may be available.

Responsibilities

• Staff inpatient heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation services at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center.
• Practice in the Baylor Heart Clinic and contribute to clinical teaching and research in the heart failure program.
