Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a BC/BE Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our team of experienced Heart Failure physicians at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to become a member of the expanding network. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical and strong communication skills with a commitment to outstanding patient care.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Join a valued and successful team of CHF physicians with extensive experience in managing LVAD, PAH, ECMO and pVAD patients including strong collaboration with academic centers for patients requiring transplants.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support.
  • Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

Requirements Include:

  • Previous experience in managing both inpatient and outpatient heart failure services at a large tertiary care medical center
  • M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic Schoo l
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Obtain or have the ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License

COMPENSATION:

Starting Base Salary: $367,808

Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.

Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
