The Heart Failure (HF) Section in the Division of Cardiology at The MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a board-certified/board eligible HF Cardiologist to join a growing team of HF providers at the HF Care Center (HFCC). This is an academic position with a faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine. Candidates will have protected time for teaching and research, in addition to clinical duties.
The HFCC at MetroHealth is run by a collaborative team including HF-trained, board-certified cardiologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, a nurse coordinator, and a clinical pharmacist. The team manages various HF-related conditions and collaborates with regional heart transplantation centers. The program participates in multicenter clinical trials and has received multiple certifications for guideline-directed medical therapy.
Candidates must have completed postgraduate training in cardiology and heart failure, with a preferred interest in cardio-obstetrics to address the growing patient population.
