Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join the Cardiopulmonary team in a full-time capacity. You will perform echocardiograms, assess heart function, and provide data that supports physician diagnoses.

Ideal candidates will be graduates of a CODA/CAAHEP-accredited program, with an Associate degree or higher, and ARDMS cardiac certification. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program accredited by CAAHEP.
• Associate degree in Science or equivalent.
• Experience in Echocardiography is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiogram tests to obtain important data about patients.
• Analyze blood flow, valve function, and chamber size to assess heart condition.
• Assist physicians in diagnosis of heart conditions.
• Accurately record patient data and test results.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling and equipment cleaning.
