Job summary

AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL is hiring for a full-time position that supports clinic operations and patient care. The role requires staying current with policies, maintaining competencies, and ensuring efficient workflow in a busy healthcare setting.

Ideal candidates will have at least a high school diploma, 1+ year experience preferred, and active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification along with CMA/CMAC/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA options.

Responsibilities

• Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
• Maintains education requirements and demonstrates competency through annual clinical competencies and tests.
• Prepares patients and equipment for treatment and documents results in the practice’s system.
• Maintains OSHA regulatory enforcement and other office compliance and safety processes.
• Provides whole care to patients during office visits, including intake, tests, screenings, labs, medication administration, and closing care gaps.
• Keeps confidentiality of employees' and patients' information.
• Assists patients, visitors, and co-workers to support staff teamwork.
• Performs clinical intake including screenings, history, vital signs, and medication reconciliation; documents results.
• Educates patients regarding tests, medications, and diet with clear instructions.
• Monitors and manages inventory and ensures functioning medical equipment; performs other duties as assigned.
