Position Overview

Onsite Neonatal Partners invites you to join our practice as a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician. You will be working at AnMed Hospital in Anderson, SC, providing hearing screening tests for newborn infants. Training for the hearing screener role will be provided.

We seek a compassionate healthcare or childcare provider to conduct hearing screenings, communicate results with parents and clinicians, educate on follow-up procedures, and assist with database management. This position reports to the Hearing Screen Coordinator at AnMed Hospital. It is a per diem/part-time role, suitable for those with experience in healthcare or childcare, or those seeking flexible work while their children are in school.

Key Qualifications
  • Preferred: newborn or pediatric experience; required: general healthcare or childcare experience
  • Sensitivity and compassion when handling infants
  • Flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for family-centered customer service
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Effective prioritization of tasks
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Covid-19 vaccination series required
